Website maintenance questions
Do I have to take a maintenance plan?
No. Every website we build is yours. If you prefer to host and update it yourself, we hand everything over at launch. The plans are there for owners who would rather not deal with it.
Is hosting included?
Yes. Both plans include managed WordPress hosting and SSL, so you won’t pay a separate hosting company.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. There is no contract. If you cancel, we help you move the website to the hosting of your choice, and you keep everything.
Can you look after a website you didn’t build?
Usually, yes, if it runs on WordPress. We check it first and tell you honestly if anything needs fixing before we take it on.
What counts as a small edit?
Changing text, swapping photos, updating prices or opening hours, adding a staff member or a new review. New pages or new features are quoted separately before we start.
What happens if my website gets hacked?
On either plan, we clean it up and restore it from a backup at no extra cost, then close the hole that let it happen.
